The ends of a woman's reproductive cycle are frighteningly similar. (Yes, it IS linear -- sorry, all you Ferociously Female Fans of nature's "circular" motions.)
The good thing about it: if you handle the mood swings right, you can make a long career out of focusing on something with a definite beginning and end.
I'm glad Pam's writing about, so that I don't have to... Oh -- who am I kidding...? I feel a book gestating.
